Here I bring you this great apple OS, the popular Mac OS X Leopard in version 10.5.5 but upgradable to newer versions such as 10.5.6 or 10.5.7.

All the info in this post is for a good installation of the OS on our PC’s or Notebook’s.

Many of you download it for PC and Mac Leopard then, experience different problems at time of installation. Well, this post is a complete guide, step by step, to help you install and configure Mac OS X Leopard on any PC with Intel processor that supports SSE2 and SSE3 instructions.

What we need to install Mac on our PC is:

- Find out if your processor supports SSE2 and SSE3 instructions with CPUz, if these instructions are not supported by your processor, you can not install Mac OS X Leopard.
- Meet the Minimum System Requirements: 512MB RAM, 10GB of free space, Video card with OpenGL support.
- Mac OS X Leopard for Intel.

Steps to take before you install Mac OS X Leopard:

- Save the Leopard DVD to descend at a speed of 4x or lower, this is important to avoid reading errors at the time of installation.
- Create a FAT32 or NTFS partition with a minimum 16GB to install the Leopard.
- Use Everest or any other similar software, to make a report of all the hardware you have in your machine.

If your PC meet the requirements, we will begin the installation

Mac OS X Leopard:

To start installing Mac OS, your PC should boot from the DVD you just recorded.

When you load the DVD we see a welcome screen, we “Continue” and accept the terms that you will get.

Come up in the menu bar and select Utilities / Disk Utility, look for the NTFS partition created above for Mac, and you will see a new menu, select Erase this, in this tab choose Volume Format and Mac OS Extended (Journal) and give the Erase button.

Remains the most sensitive part of the whole facility, which we will use data from the Everest or the like, if you have correctly followed the manual step by step should be in front of a window that says Install Summary there is a button called click on Customize.

Options “iATKOS Main System v5i” and “Bootloader” let the quiet, we went to “X86/Kernel” must choose one of 3 options which give us. For an HP DV2420LA was chosen the first option “Kernel 9.5.0 voodoo” and there has been no problem. You can choose which feel you better and tell us how you go.

As drivers we need to choose our team, some have multiple drivers for one device, you have to choose only 1 uses information taken from Everest.

After selecting the drivers from your machine you can continue to install, ask us if we want to chek the installation DVD to check for errors, and if you skipped that is supposed to have burned the iATKOS DVD in a good and lower speed.
