Microsoft planning to release Zune Phone for 2009

According to reports, a Giant company Microsoft is designing a phone, yeah you read it right, and the code-name of the phone is “Pink.” I really don’t know why they call call it “Pink.” That sounds very appealing and impressive, isn’t it?. According to CNBC’s Jim Goldman, “I’m hearing from a good source that Microsoft is ready to give a major facelift to the company’s Zune music player that could mean its evolution into a new smart phone from the company.” What makes it more interesting is the phone looks like a touch screen too. Some chitchats insinuate the phone could be discharged at the 3GSM gathering and that a broad shipment release could be a year away.

The Zune phone is the analytical development of the dire future of Microsoft’s Windows Mobile Operating System for cell phones. I like the Zune phone even though I don’t like the code-name (because I don’t like the Pink color) and think it is a presentable flip side to the iPod. [via cnbc]
