Maarten van der Weijden of the Netherlands wins gold in men’s swimming marathon

Maarten van der Weijden of the Netherlands narrowly won the gold medal in the men’s 10km swimming marathon with a time of 1:51:51.6.

David Davies of Great Britain won the silver medal with a time of 1:51:53.1. Thomas Lurz of Germany won the bronze medal with a time of 1:51:53.6.
