Radiopaq accessories manufacturer has begun selling its “Sound Jacket,” an additional sound to the fourth generation iPod nano.

The device performs the automatic hardware equalizer output of nano, in theory, compensating for the distortion and quality loss during compression of files. Radiopaq says that in some circumstances, the quality would get better as much as 60 percent.

The device also contains its own amplifier, which gives great impetus to the new lean production. The volume of some frequencies can be duplicated on an iPod without help.

The Radiopaq Sound Jacket is now available for £ 70, or about $ 113.
