Vstone and ATR, the makers of the recently launched Robovie-Nano today released what is an exciting humanoid robot-PC. Unlike their earlier makes where the robot and the PC that controls them are set separate, in this case, the Robovie-PC will be controlled by the computer that is within the robot.

Robovie-PC is quite sophisticated. It comes with a 1.6 GHz Atom Z530 processor, dual USB ports, VGA connectors and a 1.3 megapixel camera for an eye. The computer can run on both Windows and Linux. So how big is this humanoid? At 39cm (15″), and weighing 2.2 kilograms, this humanoid can give your new born some stiff competition!

Small is big in money terms as always, and it’s no different with the Robovie-PC. The manufacturers of this cute little robot say they intend to sell it for nothing less than $4,500. Considering that the Robovie-Nano cost only $540, the cost is something that makes this humanoid a little less attractive!
